Do you have a fear of flying? Overcome this fear with Hypnotherapy and to add a special touch, we have joined forces with the flight simulation team in Limassol, Cyprus to ensure all resistance has been cleared. What better way to practice and prepare yourself for your upcoming travels.
The program consists of three components, which can be taken in any order: Introduction Flight in the Flight Simulator, Hypnotherapy session, and a Kinesiology session with our Kinesiologist. It is advised to complete all components within one month.
After filling out a short questionnaire, you will experience a 1.5 hour long introduction flight in our Boeing 737-800 flight simulator. During this time, we will carry out a full city to city flight, recreate various conditions and explain the relevant procedures and safety systems. We can create different scenarios such as low visibility, turbulence, night flying, etc and also carry out a missed approach seconds before landing. The simulator can be paused at any time, should you feel the need to take a moment to collect yourself.The aim of this flight is to help you relate all the sounds and experiences in the cabin to what is going on in the cockpit. This basic understanding of the safety systems will help increase your sense of confidence and ease during flights
The anxiety experienced by the thought of flying alone can be daunting. Each person experiences their fears differently, as anxiety can happen prior to a flight or once you have physically boarded the aircraft. The aim of the session is to understand what you are triggered by, where it came from and to create a healthy pattern within your subconscious mind in order to help you release those fears that no longer serve you.Hypnotherapy is a safe, gentle and effective tool that can help overcome patterns within the subconscious mind. Our focus within this program is to identify and understand the actual cause that created this emotional sensitivity and to help release it so that you can confidently travel without any fear.The initial session is 2 hours long. Depending on the progress, follow up sessions may be required. Sessions can be arranged either at Flight Simulator Cyprus, in Nicosia, or in your own home
The Kinesiologist uses simple muscle biofeedback techniques to help you identify any events or emotions that may be at the root of your fears. She will then teach you relevant EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or other techniques to help you reframe your perception of flying and alter your reaction to any triggers. You may also be given home reinforcement exercises to help you reprogram certain brain patterns.The initial kinesiology treatment is 1.5 hours long, and may be carried out either at the Flight Simulator Cyprus or at Ravel Therapies’ clinic at Ayia Fyla in Limassol. Follow up sessions, if required, can be arranged.
